Articles (a, an, the)

Articles हे शब्द नामा (Noun) च्या अगोदर येतात. ते नाम ओळखीचे आहे का?  एकवचनी आहे का? अनिश्चित आहे का? हे कळण्यासाठी Article वापरले जातात

Articles चे तीन प्रकार (Types of Articles)

प्रकार	Article	उच्चार (Pronunciation)	उपयोग
1. अनिश्चित अर्तीकॅल	a	अ	सहसा व्यंजन (consonant) अक्षराने सुरू होणाऱ्या शब्दांसमोर वापरतात
2. अनिश्चित अर्तीकॅल	an	अॅन	सहसा स्वर (vowel) अक्षराने सुरू होणाऱ्या शब्दांसमोर वापरतात. a,e,i,o,u
3. निश्चित अर्तीकॅल	the	द	विशिष्ट, ठराविक किंवा आधी उल्लेख केलेल्या गोष्टींसाठी वापरतात

�� टीप (Tips)

a/an = पहिल्यांदा उल्लेख करताना वापरतात.

the = दुसऱ्यांदा उल्लेख करताना किंवा विशिष्ट गोष्टींबाबत बोलताना वापर

⚠️ सावधगिरीचे नियम (Rules to Remember)

i. "an" फक्त स्वर ध्वनी (sound) मुळे वापरतात, अक्षरामुळे नाही.

ii. an honest man ✅ (कारण "honest" चे उच्चार "ऑनिस्ट")

iii. a university ❌ (कारण "university" चे उच्चार "युनिव्हर्सिटी" — व्यंजन ध्वनी)

iv. "the" वापरतात:

v. जेव्हा गोष्ट एकमेव आहे: the earth, the sky.

vi. जेव्हा गोष्ट विशिष्ट/ओळखीची आहे: the red pen (ते लाल पेन
